CellShock starts shipping DDR3-1800 modules

CellShock is the memory brand of German memory manufacturer MSC and it has now announced that it has started shipping new high-performance DDR3 modules. MSC hasn’t launched just any modules as the “low-end” of the two is working at DDR3-1600 with 7-6-6-18 latencies. Even though these are some quite impressive specifications for DDR3, MSC and CellShock has launched one more module that is even faster and more impressive; CS3222580, which is specified at DDR3-1800 with 8-7-6-21 timings.



The new CellShock modules use DDR3 chip from Micron and to reach extreme speeds and memory latencies CellShock has designed a special PCB that optimize the performance. The modules are sold in kit dual channel kits with a total capacity of 2GB and the prices will be €439 and €499 for the top model. The detailed specifications are list below;
