Geil is expected to launch a new heatspreader and heatpipe cooling together with its coming and more expensive DDR3 memories. It’s uncertain when the memories will be launched, but over at Tech Connect Magazine they’ve publisherd pictures of what is suppose the cooling of the coming DDR3 memories from Geil. The cooling is really a heatspreader made from aluminum, with heatpipes and heatsinks made from copper. This is not entirely dissimilar to what SuperTalent is working on, DDR3 memories cooled by heatpipes. The memories from SuperTalent are expected to arrive later this year.
