While most of the last months of reports have been all but pro of HD DVD, the battle seems to be far from over. Paramount Pictures and DreamWorks Animation have namely announced that they both will be releasing their coming movies exclusively on the HD DVD format. HD DVD has been selling quite a lot of stationary players compared to Blu-ray, but on the other hand, Blu-ray has the PlayStation 3, which has certainly boosted sales of Blu-ray movies. Late reports also indicate that Blu-ray is selling more movies than HD DVD. By the looks of it we will be stuck with two formats for quite a while.
