Firefox 3 is still in a fairly early stage, alpha 7 code-named Gran Paradiso, but the new features and their functionality are starting to take shape. Firefox 3 will introduce a couple of new features that will most likely not go unnoticed. First of all there will be a whole new way of organizing your bookmarks through Places. Places allows you tag your bookmarks and sorting them through the tags. A new Malware detection developed together with Google, private browsing, new Password Manager, offline support for web applications, and much more. Over at PC Mech they’ve taken a look at the current state of Firefox 3 and its new features, and even through it is far from complete, things are looking very promising.
