NVIDIA G92 has been puzzling the world since the first rumors appeared. Pretty early we heard that G92 might even be something incredible, but it now seems that it is nothing more than a respin of the G80 core with some minor tweaks and a 65nm manufacturing process, DigiTimes reports. G92 will replace the current 8800GTS cards, but bring support for PCIe 2.0, PureVideo 3.0 and DisplayPort. The cards are apparently slated for a launch on November 12, which matches previous rumors though. The rumored 1 TFLOPS card might still be true, but then in the shape of two G92s slapped on to the same PCB.
