Phoronix will have to excuse the obvious title theft, but yours truly have been running VNC on Gnome for some time now and it has not been all that pleasant. Vinagre seems to change that. It’s namely a VNC client from the Vino project (Gnome VNC server), and just a few days ago they released version 0.3 of Vinagre. Over at said site, Phoronix, they’ve published a preview of Vinagre 0.3 and they are quite pleased. Even though it’s still in an alpha stage and there are bugs, it still works quite well.
