Intel Silverthorne will be the heart of the new Ultra-Mobile Personal Computer (UMPC) platform from Intel. The new supersmall and power-efficient processor have appeared on a number of road maps and is expected to arrive next year, but already Intel has demonstrated UMPCs with the new chip and even the chip itself. When we say it’s tiny, it’s probably on the top ten of understatements of the century. A user has published a video at YouTube where a representative shows off a pair of UMPCs, the chip and even a wafer with more than 500 dies on a single 300 mm wafer.
