Chinese hardware forum has once again managed to get their hands on a not yet released piece of hardware and this time it’s a card based on the highly anticipated ATI RV670. While RV670 is not expected to bring competition-crushing performance, it is expected to bring significantly reduced power consumption and higher frequencies thanks to the new 55 nm manufacturing process. As far as we can tell this also seems to be the case. The card only has one 6-pin PCIe power connector, which means (if it is suppose to be PCIe 1.1 compatible) a maximum of 225 W, even for overclocking.

Overall the card is slim, only single-slot, and the cooler is actually quite small for a high-end card. Some sources indicate that the GPU may actually run at up to 900 MHz, and we really hope it does, but it is more likely with something like 800-850 MHz.
