Digital photo frames is certainly a gadget of the modern society. With all of our pictures stored on flash memory cards nowadays, it is certainly convenient to have a gadget that can read and display these as a photograph directly, instead of having to go to somewhere and have them developed. Transcend has now launched its first, out of many we hope, digital photo frame. It’s called T.photo 710 and has a 7″ widescreen display (480 x 234) surrounded by a replaceable frame. It has an internal 1 GB memory for storing your pictures and built-in speakers for ambience.
T.photo 710 can read JPEG, BMP and Motion-JPEG from either the internal storage or via the built-in card reader, which supports SD cards (SDHC/SD), MMC cards, MS cards and CF. It also comes with a headphone jack, for connecting head phones to, and an USB port for external harddrives or USB memory sticks.
The T.photo 710 can also act as an MP3 player through its headphone jack and built-in support for background music. For easy listening and browsing your media it also comes with a remote for flipping through your pictures, or changing songs.
If you happen to be bored with watching your own pictures all day you can switch to clock or calendar mode, I don’t think they need any further explanation.
The frame costs about €120 and should be available soon.
