NVIDIA will introduce separate overclocking of shaders with nTune in November

0

A while back NVIDIA released beta drivers that made it possible to overclock the shaders separately. RivaTuner 2.04 supports this feature and it has been quite well accepted by the community. According to rumor-extravaganza site Fudzilla, the shader overclocking, also known as SPOC will be integrated into nTune next month. SPOC is short for Shader Processor OverClocking. By allowing separate overclocking of the shader processors inside the GPU you get new possibilities for optimizing performance. you can use the latest version of RivaTuner if you want to try it out, but in November you will be able to do it through NVIDIA’s nTune software.
