GeForce 8800 GT is just two weeks away now and while have had the physical specifications of the card, the actual performance is still hard to estimate. With 112 shader processors we estimated the performance of the card to be slightly above that of 8800 GTS, and judging from the benchmarks published at the Chinese blog “May the force be with you!” the GeForce 8800 GT is actually a lot faster (translated), up to 10 % at least. This most likely means that the GTS will be phased out and replaced by a new GTS pretty soon, which is also what some other Chinese sources claim (translated). EXPreview has also published 3DMark figures where it has compared the GT to the 8800 Ultra, and the two are quite close.
