Eizo is a well respected monitor manufacturer and is perhaps best known for its professional LCD monitors where quality and features are top-rated. Now that Eizo launches its new 30″ FlexScan SX3031W-H monitor there’s no doubt who designed this particular monitor. Basically it’s a 30″ monitor with 2560×1600 px resolution covering 100% of the NTSC spectrum and offers a 900:1 contrast ratio. This is more or less the standard specifications for all monitors of the 30″ segment, but Eizo offers something we’re not sure if we’ve seen before, namely dual DVI-D inputs from two different computers. In other words, two computers can use half of the monitor at the same time.
An interesting solution for those with multiple computers at home and can’t afford or have anymore room for more monitors. As usual with the 30″ segment this is not a cheap a monitor, Eizo FlexScan SX3031W-H costs around $1,800 and is expected to arrive December 18.
