It wasn’t long ago that the first aXeRam memory arrived, but already Transcend has launched its third modules of the series. The two previous models was specified to work at 800 and 1066 MHz, but the latest addition tops them both. Thanks to handpicked premium D9 memory chips from Micron, Transcend has been able to keep the operating voltage at a minimum of only 2.2 V and still offer PC2-9600 speed. This voltage is a nudge or two lower than other DDR2-1200 modules which operate at 2.3-2.4 V. The modules have 5-5-5-15 timings and comes with a lifetime warranty.
