Toshiba Qosmio G40 was one of the first laptops to sport an HD DVD player, which was hardly a surprise as Toshiba is the leading supporter of the HD DVD format. It has now, once again, made Qosmio G40 a world’s first by equipping it with the world’s first HD DVD-RW burner for laptops. Other than that, not much have been changed with Qosmio G40 since last time. The computer still sports a high definition 17″ display (1920×1200) and under the hood there is an Intel Core 2 Duo T7500 processor and a GeForce 8600M GT graphics circuit with HDMI output.
