Sparkle is the next graphics card manufacturer to launch a product using the DisplayPort interface, which is expected to go up against HDMI and DVI. Sparkle GeForce 8800 GT DisplayPort is a product where the name says it all. It’s based on the GeForce 8800 GT circuit and has a DisplayPort output, together with a regular DVI and TV output. Sparkle has also fitted the card with a pretty massive cooler, most likely more efficient than the sub-par reference cooler. Other than that the card seems to be just any GeForce 8800 GT, but the DisplayPort output and the better cooler should be enough.
“Helped with strong R&D team, SPARKLE takes the lead in introducing DisplayPort interface into the SPARKLE GeForce 8800 GT DisplayPort Graphics Card with only one cable required, it is able to simultaneously transmit 3 1080p high resolution digital video streams and 7.1 surround-sound audio quality with 10.8Gb/s bandwidth.”
