A while back a “performance simulation” of GeForce 9800GX2 was posted by a Czech website. They took two GeForce 8800 GTS 512MB and underclocked them to simulate the performance of GeForce 9800GX2. These figures are spreading all over the web and being misinterpreted as the real deal. Several Asian forums and websites have copied the benchmarks, re-posted them and then western websites have copied the benchmarks again, but due to the translations back and forth, all of a sudden a simulation has turned into actual GeForce 9800GX2 benchmarks…
