AMD Phenom 9100e is a new energy efficient model based on the Agena architecture, meaning desktop quad-core, and is slated for launch during the first quarter. Since there’s only a few weeks left, the launch can’t be that far off. Greek enthusiast GoriLLakoS has now posted some pictures of what seems to be one of the first Phenom 9100e processors out in the wild. The generic specifications are just like any other Agena-based processor; 2MB(4x512KB) of L2 cache and 2MB of shared L3 cache. The clock frequency is slightly lower though as it is an EE model, 1.8GHz.
