It didn’t take long before the first story on Sony and Microsoft discussing a Blu-ray drive appeared. According to Financial Times, Stang Glasgow, Sony Electronics CEO, said that Microsoft is contemplating getting a Blu-ray drive for the Xbox 360. An external drive is to be expected as Microsoft is most likely not interested in creating another console. A new Elite edition isn’t impossible now that there’s only onw format, but don’t get your hopes up.
