When most sites spent the last few days benching and testing the just launched GeForce 9800GX2, the guys over at VR-Zone tried to work out a voltmod. It took some time, but they found a way to increase voltage for both the GPUs and the memories. You will need a soldering iron, some steady hands, a pair of 100Ohm resistors, a couple of 25kOhm resistors and look at the pictures posted over at VR-Zone. They are pretty clear, and if you’re one of the early adopters and feel that you need/want more voltage, just whip out the soldering iron and get cracking.
