Nokia is one of the leading mobile phone manufacturers and isn’t exactly thrilled over Apple’s success with iPhone. So it has, not surprisingly, confirmed that it is working on an “iPhone killer” in the shape of a Nokia phone which is handled through a touchscreen, just like iPhone. Nokia’s upcoming creation is code-named ‘Tube’ and it’s pretty clear that this is a unit with a broad support for video playback. Among others, we should expect support for the mobile digital-TV standard DVB-H.
A number of pictures of Tube have surfaced, pictures from Nokia’s own presentations. The one below shows that Tube looks very similar to iPhone and right now we would like to see some more detailed specifications and prices before jumping to any conclusions.
