Corsair has announced that it will present a new flagship product during Computex. It’s leading Dominator family will be updated with a new 4GB kit operating at 2000MHz, that’s PC3-16000 in marketing language. The Dominator modules use patented DHX technology heatspreaders to keep temperatures at bay and maximize overclocking by cooling both the chips and the PCB. You should also take a peek at the recent 2GB vs. 4GB study conducted by Corsair. The modules will be announced during Computex, but will not become available in stores until Q3. The 2x2GB kit will then cost $675. There was no information regarding the timings.
“Corsair is focused on building the industry’s fastest memory available in the largest densities,” said Richard Hashim, Sr. Director of Marketing at Corsair. “This new ultra-fast DDR3 4GB DOMINATOR solution demonstrates Corsair’s commitment to lead the memory technology transition from DDR2 to DDR3 and from 2GB solutions to 4GB solutions. Enthusiasts worldwide demand it and we are happy to support their requirements.”
