Shuttles XPC barebones have been using a cube format ever since the first XPC came to be, but the space on the front have been largely unused, until now. Shuttle has launched a new model that utilizes a lot of the free space on the front. It is called Shuttle D10 and equips a 7″ LCD monitor directly integrated in the front of the case, with touchscreen functionality and 800×480 pixels resolution. Alas, it seems that the model was supposed to be exclusive to Japan, but we find several in stock here in the North of Europe.

Shuttle’s latest SFF barebone is about 330€ and as usual you get a case, motherboard (Intel G31-based), power supply and the integrated display. Not too shabby and with the touchscreen features of the display it should be quite possible to use Shuttle D10 as a media station of some sort, without a keyboard or mouse. Shuttle also offers a remote as option if you don’t want the kids/girlfriends/other to leave fatty prints all over the display.
