When unveiling the new MacBooks, Apple said that it will wait a bit longer before equipping its MacBooks with Blu-ray players, even though the format war is over and the Blu-ray seems to be growing. Apple says that the market is still not big enough to justify the additional costs of a Blu-ray player. Mac users who still wants a optical disc player of the latest generation can turn to AMEX. It has launched a very slim external Blu-ray player designed to match Apple’s MacBook models.
