Netbooks are perhaps the best selling laptops on the market thanks to the low prise and convenient format. There are other market that are also growing fast and that is the segment between the ultramobile models (7″-10″) and the more adult (15.4″+). Especially laptops with 12″-13″ displays have become the second fastest growing segment, most likely since these offer a bit more performance but are still very small and convenient.
Samsung has launched a new addition measuring 13″ called Q310-34P and those of you familiar with Samsung’s line of LCD TVs will most likely recognize the design. The black piano paint breaks against the red tones at the lower end of the laptop. Over at Laptopmag they were very positive to the design touches, but also the battery time and the overall performance.
More and more manufacturers are launching laptops of the 13″ format and Samsung seems to have done a good job with its addition, if nothing else it should attract TV owners looking for a matching laptop for the living room.
