SilverStone has announced that the Raven RV01 case will appear in Europe soon. The case has been getting a lot of attention ever since SilverStone unveiled the first prototype. It is the first case on the market that rotates the interior 90 degrees clockwise for even better cooling. The idea is to have cold air coming in through the bottom of the case and hot air going out at the top, which is also the natural movement of air.
Through two 180mm fans in parallel and one 120mm fan the air flow should be plentiful. Raven RV01 also has a unique design because of its cooling arrangement, but it is not just the inside that is different. The exterior is quite different from most other cases. Whether it is to your liking or not is up to you.
Raven RV01 is expected to cost $199 when it appears in December. We’re eager to see how well SilverStone’s cooling solution really works, but until then you will have to settle for the specifications and pictures below, and the information available at Silverstone’s website.
