Microsoft is the world’s largest software developer and it has now decided to take its software to another level. Softwear by Microsoft is the name of the new product family and those of you with a trained eye noticed the different spelling of Softwear / Software, a word that is maybe not that common in when Microsoft is the company in focus. The next step of Microsoft’s ad campaign “I’m a PC” is nothing less than a line of clothes, or T-shirts to be more precise.

Microsoft has cooperated with rapper Common to design a T-shirt collection inspired by the 80’s, the decade when Microsoft and by coincidence Common, became famous. Softwear by Microsoft was launched earlier last week in New York and the shirts will become available on December 15 with a bunch of 80’s inspired prints, several inspired by Microsoft of course where the DOS print and “mugshots” of Bill Gates are common.

More pictures from the event in New York and some of the coming shirts can be found over at Parlourmagazine.com.
