Every month Valve presents statistics of the hardware used by Steam subscribers. The numbers for November has arrived and even there are no drastic changes there are trends to acknowledge. The number of computers with DirectX 10 graphics cards have increased by 2.30 percentages and is at 45.97%. The number of subscribers running Windows Vista has increased by about one percentage and is just above 30% all in all, while the number of quad-core processors is now over 10%. At the same time we see that AMD’s processors, despite tough competition, is found in every third computer.
It is important to remember that these statistics are based on the hardware used by Steam subscribers, which are far from all gamers, the number should sooner be considered an interesting complement to regular sales statistics.
