Dell has been of the leading actors on the LCD monitor market over the last couple of years and it has now announced a new series of monitors with a green focus. Dell G2210 and G2410 use LED backlighting together with other optimizations that will cut the power consumption in half, when compared to competing models. It has also put a lot of energy on the performance of the monitors and instead of the standard contrast ratio of 1,000:1 Dell has waved a magic wand and come up with a dynamic contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. The monitors are expected to appear at the end of February.
