If you didn’t already expect it a screengrab from the installation of Windows 7 (Build 7025) has revealed that there will be multiple versions of the new operating system. The versions mentioned are Starter, Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and last but not least Ultimate. This shouldn’t come as a surprise for anyone really but is sooner quire expected since Microsoft has been segmenting the market in this manner ever since the launch of Windows XP.
We can’t say for certain what separates the versions, but we certainly hope that Microsoft will not make the mistake of sorting out all the things we have grown to like with the cheaper versions of Windows 7.
