Most graphics card manufacturers with any kind of good reputation have once or twice tried to develop an application for overclocking, tweaking and monitoring. EVGA is one of few that has really managed to make a tool that lasts and its EVGA Precision software has now been updated again, v1.5.1. EVGA has released quite a lot of version since the first announcements and even if this particular version was no major release the software as a whole deserves some attention.
EVGA Precision not only allows the user to set frequencies individually for multiple GPUs, but can also monitor temperatures, fan speeds and control the fan;set it to automatic or create specific profiles.
One of the big advantages of Precision are the many ways you can access the information displayed by the program. Instead of having to start the main program you can let Precision show it in-game or why not on the display of your Logitech keyboard.
EVGA Precision supports nearly all EVGA graphics cards, but also many other NVIDIA-based cards.
