Really thin notebooks has become the very latest fad and MSI hopes to grab a sizable portion of the market with the new X-Slim series. Unlike Apple, Dell and Voodoo, MSI is not targeting the rich crowd but more is going more mid-range. A few days ago it unmasked the official specifications of the first two X-Slim models, X320 and X340. We have known from earlier that MSI is planning a 15.6″ model called X600 but new information suggests more models in more sizes.
MSI is said to prepare a model in the middle measuring 14″ and a new minor with 11.6″ display. The latter will most likely get an Intel Atom processor, but we still can’t help wishing for one of Intel’s new energy efficient CULV processors.
It is not revealed when these new X-Slim models will appear, but first of all we should await the arrival of MSI X320 and X340 as they start to ship before the end of the month.
