OCZ has launched four new memory kits, optimized for AMD’s new DDR3 platform, the socket AM3. The memory modules are specified at two different frequencies and at 1.65V, OCZ also says that the kits are well prepared for the market’s focus on power-efficient components. As stated above, the memory kits comes in two different clock frequencies, 1600MHz and 1333MHz, with the main difference being latencies. Unlike previous DDR3 kits, these consists of two memory modules instead of three, as the AM3 processors only support dual channel.
