Windows 7 RC has been released and Microsoft’s Release Candidate of the new operating system is available for everyone to download and try out. Microsoft wants a lot of feedback now that it is getting closer to the end of the development stage of the operating system, which means there are very few limitations with Windows 7 RC. First of all the new test version will be available throughout July and there is no limit to the number of downloads or product keys.
At the same time, Windows 7 RC will not be closed until June 1 2010, which should give people plenty of time to upgrade to the final version of revert back to another operating system.
A lot has happened since Microsoft released the official beta of Windows 7 earlier this year and the Release Candidate is better on most points with better performance, more functions and less bugs.
Microsoft has released Windows 7 RC for both 32-bit and 64-bit systems. The download of a DVD image is 2.36GB and 3.05GB respectively in size. Those who are wondering exactly what is new since the beta can head over to the Windows 7 blog where Microsoft has shared a lot of information.
