Case manufacturer Antec has some odd creations in its lineup and the Skeleton series is without a doubt one of them. This open air case is hardly a decorator’s dream but works well for those who swap components often. Antec gears the case toward enthusiasts and overclockers that needs swift and easy access to components and it has now been revealed that there will be additional models.

Antec Mini Skeleton 90 is the name of one new model and unlike bigger brother that supports ATX motherboards, Mini Skeleton only has room for mini-ITX motherboards, which also means that the case is pretty small overall, 210x230x190mm.

Without visual references the case looks pretty similar to the old one, but the “large” fan of at the top of the case is now only 150mm wide diagonally, completed by a 70mm fan for cooling the drive bays.

The case supports two 2.5″ harddrive, and has a bunch of USB and audio outputs. The price of the delight is still clouded, but the target audience is pretty clear, fairly small mini-ITX systems used for overclocking or extensive component switching.
