World’s largest graphics card maker launched the world’s most expensive graphics card a while ago. ASUS MARS GTX295 is a monster of card and ASUS hasn’t held back during the making of the card. With 4GB GDDR3 memory and complex 512-bit memory buses makes MARS GTX295 anything but cheap to make. Even if ASUS has been unwilling to share the price of the card, stores have started listing the card with a price tag higher than any of the forehand guesses.
etailer Scan.co.uk wants no less than 1030 GBP for booking a copy of ASUS MARS GTX295. This translates into around $1,700, but since British taxes are higher it would sooner be around $1,500. ASUS has informed us that the Swedish price will be 13,999 SEK, which also translates into around $1,700, but again … taxes are higher here.
ASUS also made sure to mention that ASUS MARS GTX295 is not for everyone and whether it’s worth it or not is totally up to you, especially as the next generation graphics circuits are coming soon.
