If you’re out to optimize computer usage you might as well start with the details and that is exactly what Lenovo has done. It has been investigating people’s typing habits and reached the conclusion that we have two highly underestimated keys, ESC and Delete. These two are used at an average of 700 times per week and and even though they are frequently used they are very small, but Lenovo has changed that with the ThinkPad T400 series.
Lenovo has doubled the size of ESC and Delete with its new notebooks, and they now stretch further down into the keyboard, now twice as long, for easier access.

Whether Lenovo’s changes will be the start of a revolution is something only the future can tell, but the next key to get revamped is Caps Lock that may disappear completely since capitals aren’t used as often as they used to be.
