MSI will announce a whole bunch of Intel P55 motherboards in September when Intel decides to unveil the Core i5 family and LGA1156 platform. Like most manufacturers MSI is focusing on performance and specifically overclocking where it has now presented the V-Kit concept. It is simply measuring points for various voltages used by the motherboards, something we have seen with other enthusiast boards in different shapes.
MSI’s V-Kit will not be exclusive for the most expensive models but according to the source, MSI will equip all of its P55 motherboards with V-Kit.

It hasn’t just placed easily accessed measuring points but also mounted a multimeter friendly connector on top for keeping track of the different voltages. You can read CPU, VTT, memory and chipset voltages directly on board, instead relying on less specific BIOS and software solutions.
