As you may have heard AMD is planning a launch in September, with a pre-launch event on September 10th. While we do have a bunch of code names to ponder about, the actual names of the cards and their specifications remains clouded. AMD has been extremely careful to make sure no leaks happen before the launch, which is perhaps to prefer from the previous strategy of planting faulty information everywhere.
Either way, sources close to AMD confirms that the yields at TSMC have improved and are better than with RV740. Hopefully this means availability won’t be an issue. We are digging for more.
