Set your TV free
Berlin, Germany – You have the perfect place on the wall for your flat TV, you can visualize how great it will look, if only it didn’t have ugly cables hanging down. Philips introduces Wireless HDTV Link, allowing you to connect your TV to your set top box and AV components while respecting the aesthetics of the room.
Whether it is above the fireplace, in a recess or in-wall, now you can hang your TV wherever you want, not where the cables dictate they have to be. With Wireless HDMI you can relocate or even hide your
set-top box and AV components and the 20 meter range will ensure that you keep the best 1080p/30 HD signal, allowing you to enjoy the same high standard of picture quality without wires.
The Wireless HDTV link has two digital HDMI connections and two component connections, allowing you the freedom to switch between TV, DVD and games consoles simply and quickly, without having to change cables and plugs in between uses.
Although there are products already available that can wirelessly replace cables, they tend to deteriorate the picture quality so you don’t get the best from your flat TV. However, Philips Wireless HDTV Link is digital wireless technology that transmits 1080i and 1080p/30 HD signals and negates the need for cables, combining form and function.
The receiver has also been specially designed to fit behind standard TV wall mounts so that it is out of sight and won’t ruin the aesthetics of the room.
Philips Wireless HDTV Link is the only wireless solution that allows you to connect all major brand (CEC) HDTVs with your audio and video devices and achieve the real 1080p HD experience. Compliance to the HDMI CEC standard will allow your devices to seamlessly work together.
