AMD is working on getting enough Radeon HD 5800 graphics card to stores and pushes TSMC’s 40nm manufacturing pretty hard. New rumors suggest that AMD could launch the new mid-range GPU, Juniper, on October 12th already, in just a few weeks. Juniper is expected to launch as Radeon HD 5700 and much like Radeon HD 5800 include two models, Radeon HD 5770 and HD 5750.
Most Radeon HD 5870 and Radeon HD 5850 graphics cards are coming to stores on October 23rd, up here at least, which means AMD is launching its new mid-range cards before we even had a chance to buy the new performance models, which sounds a bit unexpected.
Anywho, AMD are very excited about getting its next generation graphics circuit out in the open as soon as possible, which we are all happy about.
