ASUS launched a custom Radeon HD 4770 graphics card named Formula earlier this year. The component maker is said to be preparing a similar model, but based on the new mid-range card from AMD, Radeon HD 5750. ASUS Radeon EAH5750 FORMULA/2DI/1GD5 will sport the Formula 1 car lookalike cooler and with a non-reference black PCB it will be one of the first not using AMD’s reference design.
The card looks a bit shorter than the reference, but the clock frequencies are the same AMD’s specifications, 700MHz GPU and 1050MHz memory.
The cooler has the same base design as the one found with Radeon HD 4770 Formula it can hopefully live up to the performance of the first model, which received praise for its low noise fan.
The card is listed at around 120€ and ships with one DVI, one HDMI and one D-Sub (VGA) output.
