Koolance is one of few commercial cooler makers that has designed extreme cooling accessories. We saw how it launched pots for both processors and graphics cards, for very reasonable amounts of money. A pot is a container that is attached like a heatsink to your processor or graphics card, but instead of air the cooling medium is liquid nitrogen or dry ice enabling far lower temperatures.

Koolance has designed the second generation LN2 pot for processors and after the first generation didn’t quite measure up we can gladly report that the company has done its homework for this second attempt.

Koolance CPU-LN2 Rev2 has been tested by Legitreviews.com and shows that it can stand up well to the reference pot K|ngp|n F1EE, an impressive achievement considering it costs half as much as F1EE.

Dry ice performance is considerably better than F1EE and with liquid nitrogen Koolance has moved from mediocre performance to keeping even pace with F1EE. This is thanks to a new bottom with many, many holes for more and better contact with the cooling medium.

The prices is 169 USD and the cooler will start shipping on February 8th.
