Windows 7 ships with a lot of system settings and it’s not always easy to remember where all settings can be found, even if the updated search function makes it a lot easier than with previous versions of Windows. Microsoft seems to have understood that it would be nice to list all settings in the same place and has therefore created a little trick dubbed “GodMode”.
Create a folder and name it;
GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
The next time you open the folder you will find links to all control panel settings listed. The name GodMode has nothing to do with the trick, it’s just a suitable name.
The GodMode folder becomes a motorway to your system settings
Microsoft isn’t exactly ecstatic over “GodMode”, which is a documented feature of the operating system, but that doesn’t mean the functionality is worse, even if MS insists that you shouldn’t get your hopes up for this feature in the long run.
