GeForce GTX 480M s the name of the first mobile DirectX 11 GPU from Nvidia. The chip was officially confirmed by Nvidia and sports 352 CUDA processors and up to 2GB GDDR5 memory to battle AMD’s Mobility Radeon HD 5000 series. GeForce GTX 480M comes with 425MHz core clock, shader processors operate at 850 MHz while the GDDR5 memory is clocked at 2 400 MHz.
Beside a powerful architecture the mobile graphics circuit supports the same features as the desktop siblings, such as PhysX, PureVideo HD, 3D Vision and 2-way SLI.
Beside Eurocom, which revealed the chip earlier this month, Clevo is expected to present a notebooks sporting GeForce GTX 480M.
