Acer GD245HQ sports 120Hz and 3D vision

Most likely most gaming monitors that will launch in 2010 will sport 120Hz technology. With a high update frequency comes support for 3D technologies, among others NVIDIA’s 3D Vision that Acer has focused on with GD235HZ. Acer will launch the new 23.6″ GD245HQ monitor in Europe soon with 1920×1080 pixel resolution, 2ms response time and 80,000:1 dynamic contrast.

It prefers talking about the 120Hz update frequency that enables you to enjoy games in “real” 3D using a 3D Vision compatible graphics card and belonging glasses.

Other specifications worth mentioning includes TN LCD panel, CCFL backlighting, VGA, DVI and HDMI inputs. Power consumption is rated between 1.85W and 38.2W.

Acer GD245HQ is already listed and costs around 450€.
