G.Skill har som så många andra minnestillverkare sett potentialen i Solid State Drive-marknaden och man har nu lanserat två nya SSD enheter som man säger ska förena hög prestanda med ett lågt pris. Det är en ekvation som oftast är väldigt svår att lösa men G.Skills 2.5″ SATAII enheter har 64GB resp. 128GB lagringsutrymme och specifikationerna ser inte särskilt dåliga ut för att vara MLC-baserade enheter. Man specificerar en läshastighet på 155MB/s och skrivhastighet på 90MB/s. Hur bra detta blir i verkliga applikationer får vi vänta på de första testerna för att avgöra. Tyvärr nämner man inget om priser ännu, men de borde ligga på en ganska rimlig nivå.
