När minnestillverkaren G.Skill lanserar sin senaste serie av Solid State Drives gör man det med en ganska stor nyhet. Istället för att vända sig till JMicron och tillverkarens kritiserade minneskontroller har G.Skill valt att utrusta sin Falcon-serie med en NAND flashkontroller från tillverkaren Indilink. Exakt vilken kontroller från Indilink man använder sig av är oklart, men med största sannolikhet är det samma modell som används i OCZs populära Vertex-serie. G.Skill Falcon kommer med 256GB kapacitet och skrivhastigheter på upp till 190MB/s med en 64MB cache för att undvika problem med stuttering.
