Vertex3D startade så sent som i juli sin verksamhet på grafikkortsmarknaden och tillverkaren visade från dag ett upp ett ganska komplett produktsortiment för AMDs grafikkretsar. Som nykomling på grafikkortsmarknaden var det ingen överraskning att man satsade på AMDs referensdesign för sina kort men nu verkar det som att VTX3D, som tillverkaren kallar sig, lanserat sitt första specialdesignade kort. VTX3D HD4870 har utrustats med en Arctic Cooling Accelero Twin Turbo Pro kylare och fått en GPU-klockfrekvens på 770MHz.
