Single-level cell (SLC) flashminne är snabbare och har längre livstid än den multi-level cell (MCL) teknik som används hos de flesta SSD-enheter på marknaden. Fördelen med MLC är betydligt lägre priser/GB tack vare högre lagringsdensitet. Nu har OCZ lanserat vad som verkar vara en av de första budgetinriktade SSD-enheterna med SLC-teknik. Allting är givetvis relativt och Agility EX med en 60GB lagringskapacitet kostar fortfarande närmare 4000 kronor, men det är betydligt billigare än tidigare SLC-lösningar. Datahastigheterna är spikade till 255MB/s läs, samt 195MB/s skriv tillsammans med en 64MB minnesbuffert.
