Intel Developer Forum will open its doors on September 13th in San Francisco, and usual we expect to get a glimpse of the future from the processor giants, and its partners, perspective. It has now revealed some of the topics, including Sandy Bridge, SSD and UEFI.

Unified Extensible Firmware Interface is supposed to replace the current BIOS and make the booting process a lot more pleasant. A system we hope to hear more about at IDF 2010.

Solid State Drives will also be on the agenda and we presume that Intel will be revealing more information on its next generation SSDs.

Other interesting topics will be Intel’s new processor architecture Sandy Bridge and Atom and Core processors, but also PCI Express, USB 3.0 and cloud computing will be discussed during the event.

IDF in San Francisco will start with a press conference held by Intel VP Paul Otellini.
